Batch No. 4 has been aged for a minimum of 6 years in new American oak and ex-bourbon barrels. The result of this extended Double Oaked aging period is an American single malt that displays traits of something more classically produced in the Highlands of Scotland married with spicy attributes typically found in well aged American rye whiskey. This well rounded, complex whiskey is an incredible sipper for the die hard whiskey fan.

Palate: Full bodied with notes of toasted hazelnuts, vanilla and salted caramel.

Our distillery, located at the family farm in Hood River, Oregon has a unique mission and production process that combines the experience of top distilleries around the country with the mastery and vision of Wanderbacks founder, Phil Downer.
