From Italy’s Villa Crespia winery comes this brut sparkling Franciacorta white wine, sustainably produced from chardonnay grapes grown in the winery’s organic vineyards, spanning the six protected Franciacorta growing regions. The wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks before maturing for 7-8 months, then refermented and aged in the bottle for at least 18 months. Brimming with delicate florals, orchard fruits, and citrus, this will make a fab alternative to prosecco or Champagne when the occasion calls for a good bottle of bubbly.

Since its foundation in 1999, Villa Crespia has always been dedicated to the production of Franciacorta wine, using grapes from the familys own vineyards. The vineyards are located in each of the six dedicated areas of Franciacorta. Villa Crespia manages its vineyards using organic methods and is self-sufficient in energy thanks to its photovoltaic system. NumeroZero Franciacorta Dosaggio Zero is the companys most representative wine. Dosage Zero means that during disgorging, topping up is done with the same wine, so no sugar or liqueur are added. Dosage Zero is therefore the most authentic interpretation of the soil. Three of Villa Crespias ten Franciacorta wines are Dosaggio Zero (no dosage): NumeroZero, Cisiolo Franciacorta Dosaggio Zero and Riserva del Gelso Franciacorta Dosaggio Zero. Seven years ago, Mill was developed, which was presented for the first time at Vinitaly 2015 with Millesimo 2007. Over the years, the 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 vintages have followed, and the 2014 vintage celebrating Mills seventh birthday has just been released.
