Born in Kagoshima Japan, in the shadow of the Sakurajima volcano, Ukiyo Yuzu Gin is made from a traditional Japanese shochu spirit, which is then redistilled using juniper, yuzu, more citrus and a whole host of regional botanicals. The yuzu flavour is tart and fragrant, resembling that of the lemon and grapefruit, with overtones of mandarin orange. On the fore youll find juniper, yuzu, bitter orange and coriander with background notes of pine, lavender and matcha tea shinning through. Fresh, vibrant and rich are the perfect three words to describe this gin!
