You know the classic love story trope? Two people meet, they fall in love, happiness ensues. Manchester Gins story is based around that, except theres an additional step to the proceedings. Two people meet, they fall in love, happiness ensues, they create an award-winning gin. Honestly, thats the kind of love story we cant get enough of here at MoM Towers. Were romantics at heart. The two folks at the core of this story are Jen Wiggins and Seb Heeley, who first got talking over a G&T, and followed on that theme in 2015 by launching Manchester Gin! Made in their own 60-litre copper column still named Wendy, Manchester Gin features plenty of inspiration from the eponymous city. For example, two notable botanicals in the mix are dandelion and burdock root – staple flavours of a Mancunian childhood. Also, the label features a worker bee, which is the symbol of Manchester.
