Independent Armagnac bottler L’Encantada has a knack for sourcing some gems from different producers (Domains) around the region. This one from Grand Mle in the Armagnac-Tnarze region is made from colombard and ugni blanc grapes, distilled in 1992. Only 350 bottles were produced, at an ABV of 52%.

Nose: Rich, apricot, mango, fig, and soft lemon cheesecake filling, a little white chocolate and gentle spices, prunes and toffee, some citrus adds a sweet and refreshing note to the nose.

Palate: Some orchard fruits and soft creamy vanilla and honey, cocoa and toasted almonds with hints of crushed walnuts, dates and a soft strawberry, melon and mango with a hint of raspberry, soft floral tones orange and apple blossom.

Finish: Orange and tangerines freshness in the finish.
