Nose: Herbal, citrusy, intense nose.

Palate: Spiced, sweet. Fruity, with candied orange rind, nutmeg and pepper.

Finish: Peppery, fruity.

Distillery Information

The history of Jgermeister begins in 1934 Wolfenbttel, Germany, when Curt Mast combined a robust selection of roots, herbs, spices and fruit into one intense liqueur. Just like his father, Wilhelm Mast, Curt was a keen hunter, and as such named his creation in honour of hunters – the name literally translates to Hunting Master. Its made using 56 herbs, spices, roots and fruit, many of which are secret. Over the years, Jgermeister has become very popular in the bar world, paired with energy drinks and the like, though it is also often enjoyed neat and chilled.
