This rum is aged for a minimum of 12 years in American oak and is bottled at cask strength, with a proof of 120. The blend is composed of rums aged for 15 and 21 years, lending it a deep, complex flavor profile. The nose is full of rich, dark notes of molasses, caramel, and dried fruit, while the palate brings forward flavors of oak, leather, spice, and pepper. The finish is long, smooth, and slightly sweet.
