Single vintage Armagnac from the experts at Chteau de Lberon! But which vintage, you ask? 1988 was the year that this expression was distilled, back when people wore pyjamas and lived life slow. They probably listened to cassette tapes on boomboxes and used real coins to buy things in shops too. Bottled up at cask strength, this well-matured sipper is ideal for some luxurious evening enjoyment.

Chteau de Lberon 1988 | 500ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Complex aromas and flavors, with notes of fruit, earth.

Palate: As dark as a can of coke, and supremely rich, the nose is heavy leather, perfume, oak, and then just layers of figs and nuts and spices, sweets and berries, caramel and licorice.

Finish: It has a long and complex finish that includes a range of flavors and sensations.

Distillery Information

Chteau de Lberon is a fourth-generation distillery, housed in a medieval fortress constructed in the 13th century. In 1939 Osmin Rozs bought the property and restored and transformed it into the family home, planting vines and resuming distillation campaigns.
