This reposado Tequila from Cascahun spends six to eight months resting in American oak barrels before bottling. Produced from 100% agave, the cooked agave and gentle notes of toasted oak combine for a rewardingly soft and characterful profile.

Cascahun Reposado | 700ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Soft notes of cooked agave, cinnamon, earth, and oak.

Palate: Cooked agave followed immediately with notes of oak, cloves and cinnamon spice, ripe bananas, the alcohol becomes present in the finish for a slightly dry/bitter punch but is followed by a cooling, creamy mouthfeel with licorice bits.

Finish: Lasting, bright and creamy.

Tequila Cascahun has its origins since 1904 in the traditions of tequila production processes, distinguishing itself to this day, for its authentic flavors and its select quality of the best cultivated agaves in the valleys area.The word “Cascahun”, a distinctive sign of our company, and the idea of its founder Salvador Rosales Briseo, arises from pre-Hispanic roots whose interpretation is “Cerro de Luz” or “Fiesta en el Cerro”Since its inception, the elaboration of Tequila Cascahun products is carried out in its distillery located in the geographical region declared “the Gate of the Agavero Landscape” for its stories and Traditions related to the creation of the tequila drink: El Arenal, Jalisco.
