The Scottish Craft Gin market continues to grow rapidly. Many of the products are named after the beautiful places they are made in, such as Harris Gin and Arran Gin; other excellent examples include Rock Rose from Dunnet near Thurso and Misty Isle from Skye. Within the National Park, we have Falls of Dochart Gin, Arrochar Alps and Sonsie Gin. Now there is a new gin named after Ben Lomond. Loch Lomond Distillery produces Ben Lomond Gin in Alexandria. Theres some tough competition in this sector, but Ben Lomond Gin is a strong contender. Here are the stockists of Ben Lomond Gin, many of which are in the National Park, MacMillan Wines, Callander, The Green Welly Stop, Tyndrum, Royal Mile Whiskies, Edinburgh, Luss Village Store, Woodwinters, Good Spirits Co. The Grail, Doune and Ellies Cellar, Helensburgh The packing is very nice, explaining that some of the berries used in the gin have foraged from the National Park. It is a classic dry gin, with the berries proving a distinctive but subtle flavour.
