Charles Nollat is ngociant/wine producer in the Cte de Nuits in Burgundy. The Domaine Charles Nollat was purchased by Lalou Bize-Leroy in 1988 and became Domaine Leroy. The family kept rights to the name and today, Charles Nollat operates as a ngociant. The remaining wines of Domaine Charles Nollat are highly sought-after. The Nollat family have a long wine producing history in Vosne-Romanee, initiated by brothers Charles and Ernest in the early 20th Century. Both Charles’ and Ernest’s descendents are vignerons with Domaine Georges Nollat and Domaine Michel Nollat et Fils respectively. Holdings of Domaine Leroy include plots in several grand cru sites in the Cte de Nuit, as well as in Corton, plots in eight premier cru vineyards, and vineyards that fall under both village and regional appellations.
