Their mission: to sniff out the rarest and most interesting casks from this fascinating largely overlooked region in south west France. This bottling comes from Domaine Pouy in the Armagnac-Tnarze sub-region, it’s distilled from a mixture of colombard and ugni blanc grapes, and bottled at 56% ABV.

L’Encantada Domaine Pouy 1998 | 500ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Floral notes with citrus peel, vanilla and chocolate on the nose.

Palate: In the mouth, it’s rich with toasted nuts, fennel, peaches and dark chocolate.

Finish: The finish is quite unique, rich and long lasting.
