Dictador’s Aurum rum, from Columbia, is made using virgin sugar cane honey and distilled in antique copper alembic stills. It’s then aged in ex-bourbon barrels, resulting in a richly honeyed, moreish sipper.

Nose: Flavours of parfait sweet Colombian coffee, dark chocolate.

Palate: The mouth feel is extremely smooth with fudge.

Finish: The finish is long, complex, with light oak flavours coming into play, giving the sensation of extreme quality and balance between strength and softness.
