From a secret Irish distillery, located at the end of a rainbow, a magnificent Irish single whiskey. Distilled in 2003 and matured in a bourbon barrel for 15 years, a total of 121 bottles make up this release.

A Secret Irish Distillery 15 Year Old 2003 (Private Label) | 700ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Awash with soft peaches and apricots, juicy nectarines, and fresh pressed pears. Toasted oak brings creamy vanilla with hints of herbaceous malt in tow.

Palate: Thick-cut marmalade and fresh lemon zest are countered by chocolate buttons and delicate hints of cream soda, with hints of allspice developing.

Finish: Praline and more of those fresh stone fruits from the nose, joined by plum jam and earthy walnuts.

Distillery Information

Master of Malt was founded in 1985. When it comes to bottling, they like to leave things unadulterated. they never add caramel colouring to whiskies, and prefer to leave them at natural cask strength. In the rare occasion when they lower the bottling strength never, ever use chill-filtration. “we believe this affects the flavour of good spirit, and we cant have that!”
