Distilled in 1995, it matured in a single cask for 26 years before being bottled in 2022 by for The Colours of Rum series by indie bottlers, Wealth Solutions. An outturn of only 111 bottles, at a robust cask strength of 63.6% ABV.

Nose: It’s got the colours of an old cognac and indeed, it would start with notes of old cognac,

Distillery Information

The distillery is owned for 73% by National Rums of Jamaica, a partnership between the Jamaican government, the West Indies Rum Distillery (owned since 2017 by Maison Ferrand), and Demerara Distillers. The other 27% is in the hands of Diageo, who use the majority of the distillery’s production for Captain Morgan.
