The craft Rum Agrcola da Madeira producer O Reizinho does some of the most vibrant, delightful, and intriguing rums you’ll ever try. This one was rested for nine months to create a really balanced spirit, there’s still lots of character from the spirit of the new make sugarcane juice (grassy green olive and crisp white summer fruits), while the ex-Madeira fortified wine cask provides dried fruit and softens the spirit, adding weight and mouthfeel.

Distillery Information

Created in 1982 by the owner, Florentino Izildo Gouveia Ferreira, the mill O Reizinho (The Little King) started with the traditional practice of grinding and the production of homemade rum. Today, the company produces liqueurs, rum and other spirits. His rum O Reizinho has won several awards at national and international level, including the gold medal at the World Rum Awards in 2019, and two gold medals at the China Wine & Spirits Awards in 2020. It is now marketed in Madeira, London and France.
