The Batch team has taken inspiration from Indian cuisine for this gin, which features mango along with a selection of spices like amchoor, nigella, and chilli. A fab balance of sweet and spicy, which ought to be amazing for making some intriguing cocktails.

Distillery Information

The family-run Batch Spirits was founded by Phil Whitewell in 2012 in the basement of a house in Lancashire, receiving its distillers license after previously producing craft beers. However, it wasnt until 2015 that they expanded, although this expansion was only to a second basement. Nonetheless, this meant that Batch Signature Gin was being regularly produced in the evenings, as the team still all had full time jobs. That same year Batch Spirits won a silver medal at the San Francisco World Spirit Competition. By 2016 the brand had truly outgrown basement life, and moved to a site in Habergham Mill in Burnley, complete with a brand new larger still called Adrian. Later that year, with the new space they had acquired, they were able to experiment and expand the range, with flavoured gin and a vodka. Since then, the brand has only acquired more medals and added more expressions to the range.
