Exeter Rum | 700ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Bold aromas, excellent aromatic depth, stacks of fragrance and a big hit of juniper.

Palate: Glossy and richly textured.

Finish: Finish is very smooth and long.

Distillery Information

Local foodies Karen Skerratt (the director of Granny Garbutts (Pop Up) Gin Palace) and her husband Mick launched this gin brand with plenty of historical influence and local charm from the couples home in Teignmouth. The core expression is made in small batches using their own traditional copper still. The brand was inspired by the citys Roman history and is made with historic botanicals which were used in Roman cuisine. A talented local graphic designer also created the bottle, which was intended to depict the Roman era.
