From long-running Italian drinks producer Toschi comes an aged edition of its Nocino, a traditional walnut liqueur. The Riserva expression spends over five years maturing in oak barrels, allowing plenty of time for the flavour profile to develop and grow rich an excellent choice for postprandial drinks.

The company Toschi was established in Vignola (Modena), when Giancarlo and Lanfranco Toschi first dipped the famous Vignola cherries into alcohol to preserve them and enjoy them all year round. A day quite unlike any other, in 1945. The war is drawing to a close, time to roll up our sleeves and set about reconstruction. In a little workshop on the outskirts of Vignola, famous worldwide for its wonderful cherries, two brothers Giancarlo and Lanfranco Toschi, faced with an unusually abundant harvest, are inspired with a touch of genius. They start production on a commercial scale of what was to be able to enjoy them all year round. This is just the first in a long line of product that today are known everywhere as Frutta sotto Spirito. And thus the Toschi story begins. Over 70 years in the business, the company has enormously enlarged its range of products but the mission of Toschi Vignola Srl is to offer quality products to the market, at the same time respecting tradition and territorial features. Toschi has obtained the certification of key food industry to provide its customers with products of excellent quality: in 2000 Toschi Vignola received the UNI-EN-ISO 9001:2000 certification and in 2006 it obtained the IFS certification for all its products. Toschi has also BRC, Hallal and Kosher certification. The company, which is now being headed by Giorgio Montorsi and Massimo Toschi, is located in Savignano sul Panaro and has 65 employees.
