A handcrafted Colombian vintage rum from Dictador, limited release as part of their ‘Best of’ series. This 41 years of aged rum was distilled in 1976, finished in Sherry Cask. Explodes with maple syrup, roast toffee, and toasted macadamia nuts on the nose. Flavors of mocha, chocolate liqueur, and an incredible balance where the sugar cane plays with the alcohol without any astringency. The finish is massive and rich, with incredible unctuousness, smooth and lingering for minutes on end with hints of creamy rum raisin ice cream and toffee nuts.

Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.

Palate: A splendid taste with a warm feel to it. Not to smoky but silky smooth.

Finish: Finish is lingering.
