In this bottle is distilled more than 10 pounds of fresh Williams pears from the right bank of the Rhne in the Canton of Valais. Etter Suisse Williams Pear | 375ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Smells like the skin and flesh of a ripe pear, right after you cut it open.

Palate: Pear essence with a rush of finely distilled alcohol on the backside. Unlike the Schladerer and some other Poire Williams we have reviewed, this one has not been aged in wood and so has a cleaner just fruit taste.

Finish: Nips at the edges of you tongue as you finish it. A wonderful warming and long lingering finish.
